You may asked me, “Hei Zan, i blogging only for my own daily experience, is that redundant efforts to do research first?”. Hmm..okay, you blog for personal right?. Me too, but my motivation to learn SEO techniques is to get more visitors to my blogs. More visitors means more chances and more popularity, more chances and popularity means more revenue (applied only if you’ve monetized your blog). I love blogging too, but what about costs to cover like domain and hosting expense and your internet connections?. Okay, maybe it’s not a big problem for you. But it’s a kind of trouble for me. Besides it can generated some side-revenue for me by participating at paid review program. Whoa, it’s out of topics ya?. Okay, it’s fine, i just want to give some reasons why i learn SEO for blogs. SEO is complex. Ah back to the keywords research, there’s a lot of useful keywords tools out there to determine what good keywords to use, just Googling for “Keywords Tools”, myself always use Google Adwords tools for advertiser to get some alternative keywords.

After you get some keywords ideas, use it at your titles and content articles. Place your keywords randomly exactly. Never put your keywords too often, because search engine may look your articles like keywords spam, stuffed with keywords only without proper content. But, forget search engine first. Just do it with your own passions and for your lovely readers. Because loyal readers and regular visitors is more important. Search engine is just to get potential loyal readers if they find your pages are useful. The key phrase to opmised is changed from “BUSBY SEO TEST” to “Busby SEO Test“. I wonder if that get big diferrence.

Honestly, i don’t know what to do first when register this blog to compete for the busby seo test keyprhase. Actually i just blogging for fun without feel challenging by anything. But when i know this busby seo contest, i encouraged to participate. My SEO skill is just learned a few weeks ago, it’s very early i think. I don’t hope too high, i just want to prove everything i’ve learned about SEO.

So, to waste the four months given i start this blog from the beginning. But when starts i found it’s difficult to optimised the “Busby SEO Test“. Because previous participant already optimised for the Busby SEO keyprhase. This keyprhase is still the same just changing to “test” from the previous keywords “challenge”.

The Busby SEO test contest for the “Busby SEO Test” keyprhase is passed one day. When i check the result at Google Search for the optmised keyprhase busby seo test among the top 100, i got the #79. That’s bad but it’s okay for beginner like me.

The second Busby SEO World Cup Contest is held again!. I also particpated this SEO blog. Starting from the first October 2008 until the end of january 2008. This contest has $5000 for the first winner. The Goal of this contest is to achieve the highest ranking for the keyprhase optimised “BUSBY SEO TEST“. This second busby website contest got the rule, but i think in this busby contest, there’s no difference from the first one, even i’m not participated. Here, just a relax review about some rules contest. According to the contest rules, there’s a rule number 3 written “Only Ethical SEO techniques may be enganged  and the judges reserve the right to review the techniques engaged by the winner to ensure they comply.” Hmm.. I got no idea, what’s an ethical SEO techniques?. However I just do what they say in the rule. My SEO techniques is nothing, just trying my best. I’m nothing to IMFreakz, the first place winner from the previous busby seo contest.

And the fifth rule at the Busby SEO Test is written “The competition is only open to domain and sub domain names that do not include the key phrase in any form.”. How fool, there’s still participants that violate that rule!!. You can see that at the SEO Leaderboard result. It’s funny, didn’t they read the rules first before?.

The contest is named Busby SEO World Cup 2. Started from 01 October 2008 and will end on the last january 2009. The key phrase to optimised is BUSBY SEO TEST.
